In a commendable initiative led by the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Public Health Department Class of 2021 at Jamhuriya University recently hosted an enlightening program titled “Awareness about drug abuse: smoking Cigarette, Tabu, Pethidine, Tramadol” at Darul Rajab Primary and Secondary School. This event, part of the university’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and public health education, aimed to shed light on the critical issue of drug abuse.
The program featured insightful lectures, interactive workshops, and open discussions, all designed to educate students, teachers, and community members about the dangers associated with the misuse of substances such as cigarettes, Tabu, Pethidine, and Tramadol.
